We’ve had two power outages in two days (unpredictable evening storms) and the best device in our house when they struck was my neck light. I grabbed it when the thunder started booming, and minutes later we were in a pitch black house. Turned my light on and we were able to navigate safely through the house and down the basement stairs with our hands free. The power was out for two hours, so I used it as a reading light to keep myself entertained while my husband relaxed. He asked to borrow it a few times, so he’s getting one as a surprise gift tomorrow! We’ve had several texts from an out-of-state family member dealing with tornadoes, and going up and down narrow stairs into their basement. Surprise! They’re getting two delivered tomorrow as an early birthday gift. I’ll feel so much better knowing they can have both hands on the stair railing instead of holding and using their phone flashlight, or an actual flashlight or lantern.I use it, I love it, I HIGHLY recommend it!!!*************************************************I love this light! I played around with it for hours and I’m VERY impressed. The lights work well, there’s lots of options, and it’s so comfortable hanging from my neck I kinda forgot to remove it after I turned it off… which was 5 hours ago. (The wider, flatter, smooth silicone-covered section that lays at the back of your neck is the reason why.)This 24-inch neck light is lightweight, flexible, rechargeable, and does a fantastic job of illuminating reading material or projects you’re working on with its LED lights. It would also be useful while camping, traveling, navigating through your home in the dark, and would be incredibly helpful during a power outage. Worn around your neck, the device would safely light your way during a blackout leaving both hands free (unlike when you carry a flashlight or a candle.) This light is also a much safer option for children.All operating buttons and the charging port is located on the end of one light.Instructions are included in the packaging for all operations including two special options:*Fatigue Reminder that automatically adjusts the lighting, reminding you to take a break* Intelligent Light Off which will turn off the LED after a specific time periodAn indicator light on the device shines red when the battery is low and needs recharging, then transitions to white when fully charged. (This light takes about 100 minutes to recharge and a cord is included.)The light can be set to three different lighting color options: cool white, warm white, and yellow. You also have five brightness intensity options ranging from weak to strong; great when you want low light to read in bed, but stronger light while working on intricate hand work.I don’t know how many hours the light remains charged. I would think it depends on the brightness setting. I also need to practice setting the fatigue reminder and the intelligent light off functions. The instructions on these were a little unclear. The product is manufactured in China and I think the instructions in these sections needed someone proficient in English to proof them.
