DescriptionSolid Sterling SilverDimensions: 2 5/8″ by 3 3/8″St. Cuthbert, bishop of Lindisfarne, England (A.D. 634-687) was dedicated to prayer and missionary work. At the end of his life he retired to a hermitage on Farne Island. After his repose, his relics were taken to Lindisfarne and in A.D. 995 they were placed behind the high altar at Durham Cathedral. Gallery Byzantium’s St. Cuthbert Cross is an exquisitely designed replica of the cross which St. Cuthbert wore when he died.
