You can about tell how good these arrows are by how often amazon’s fulfillment center runs out of stock. They are all-around outstanding budget arrows, and of better quality than similarly priced arrows I’ve seen in stores with plastic fletching, even if they do seem to be edging higher and higher in price.We use these for traditional, instinctive archery training, with bows from 25-45 lbs, firing from 5-20 meters. They’ve performed consistently for all our archery needs. Like all carbon fiber arrows, they’re as accurate as you could possibly want, very straight, and never bending when an arrow goes astray or hits something hard. Unlike aluminum and wood, you don’t have to worry about needing to check to see if the arrow needs straightening every time you shoot. And the feathers hold up well. Even when we need to pull an arrow all the way through our straw bale backstop (when the head gets buried between the bales), or push it back in the direction it came from, a simple brush with your hand and they look good as new. I keep wondering when the white paper adhesive will pull loose and need to be removed, but so far that hasn’t happened to any, and despite the rather cheapness of the paper, it makes the arrows much easier to see from a distance.Of course, like with all budget arrows with removable tips we’ve tried, the tips could benefit from a drop of blue Loctite, else you’ll be snugging them after each and every shot. The nocks are glued in, but while they have held perfectly firm with no sign of loosening after being fired hundreds of times, we did pull out one without too much difficulty, after hitting the nock with another fired arrow. So the glues don’t seem to be so strong that the nocks can’t be replaced. Heating the arrow with a soldering rod should make removal even easier.We’ve found cheaper carbon fiber arrows on amazon with real feathers that have been good performers as well. But they came with lighter tips and cheaper nocks. As long as the price doesn’t keep creeping up, we’d still recommend these over all others we’ve tried, largely due to the better tips and nocks. They were shipped like all the arrows we’ve bought on amazon to date, a box within a box with the arrows supported by 3-4 Styrofoam blocks.I didn’t knock the grade a star for the arrows not featuring an odd colored feather, as with all but compound bows, such isn’t a serious consideration. If you’re using these with a compound bow, investing in a permanent marker may be in order. Those using the arrows with traditional bows like the laminated, fiberglass and wood composite, and twin/snake bows we use them with will find there is little to no difference in accuracy regardless of how the feathers are orientated when you shoot. And three red arrows are easier to see at a distance than only two or one.
