The coaching board will serve its purpose.Pros: The magnets are thicker and more easily manageable than other coaching boards I have had in the past. I liked that it came with two markers and not only one like other boards. The markers do tend to dry out quickly, so it was nice that they thought of giving two instead of one. The board is on the thinner side, so its easier to pack away with my other coaching stuff without having to carry a big bag. I also like that there was a ref magnet, sometimes it is helpful, especially when trying to talk about certain plays that had happened. The magnet numbers or pictures are on there very well, its not like others that have a sticker glued to the magnet, so I can see these magnets will last longer than my previous.Cons: Even though the board is on the thinner side and easier to store, the board is an open and shut type. Meaning no zipper or snap to keep it closed. The magnets do stay on the board pretty well after having my bag thrown around, however, the marker falls out continuously. I do have to look for the marker at the bottom of my bags, which gets annoying. The liner of the board doesn’t seem to be well stitched, so I’m afraid with time and usage it’ll start to come undone. Also because the leather like material is on the thin side, with it being used outside and thrown on the bleachers at times (because lets face it during the games i write notes and continue to watch the game that I don’t think about the care of my stuff) it got scratches and didn’t repel morning dew very well.
